Spring has arrived, and ATV season is following hot on its heels. We can’t wait to get back out on our quads, both for work and play!
At this time of year, we also like to explore some of the latest models of ATVs that are likely to make a big splash on the market. As we’ve looked through various publications, we’ve found a few common mentions on the “Best of 2021” lists that we’re going to feature here today.
Check out some of the hottest new ATV models and updates of 2021!

Polaris Sportsman 570 Ultimate Trail LE
Polaris has long been one of the most-trusted brands in the world of ATVs, and its Sportsman 570 continues its tradition of fantastic machines. It features a 44-horsepower, 567cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. This provides more than enough power for most users, and makes it ideal for trail riding. Its dual-arched A-arm suspension and 26-inch tires provide plenty of control and comfort when you’re out on your ride, as does the Ride Control Tech, including Geo-fencing, three-mode throttle and more. It even comes with a factory-installed plow mount, s you can turn it into your snow plow during the winter months.

Yamaha Kodiak 700
The Kodiak 700 features a 686cc engine, the same that powers the Yamaha Raptor 700R. This is considered by many ATV enthusiasts to be one of the best, if not the best, options this model year thanks to its manually changed two- or four-wheel drive options and its all-wheel engine braking. The design features double-wishbone suspension at both the front and rear, as well as dual hydraulic disc brakes in the front and multidisc wet brakes in the back. Tow up to 1,322 pounds with this beast, or simply enjoy your time on the trails.

Can-Am Outlander Max Limited
The overall performance of the Can-Am Outlander Max Limited is hard to match this model year. It features a potent 1,000cc, 91 horsepower Rotax V-twin engine, and all the bells and whistles you could ask for, including both two-wheel and four-wheel drive and Can Am’s proprietary auto-locking front differential feature, Visco-Lok QE. There are three modes of power steering, allowing the operator to customize their ride to what best suits them.
With the suspension, the Limited features Fox 1.5 Podium QS3 shocks that are quite adjustable. The smoothness of the ride is bolstered by comfortable, high-back seats with foot rests and hand holds. If you’d rather increase your cargo capacity, you can take off the rear seat. The machine also has a 7.6-inch digital display, with a removable touch-screen GPS to guide you on your adventure.

Honda Fourtrax Foreman Rubicon DCT EPS Deluxe
Honda’s Rubicon line has been producing some great machines for a while, and the 2021 edition is no exception. This year’s version features a 518cc PGM-FI single-cylinder motor that runs with a dual-clutch transmission. This dual-clutch system can only be found in Honda’s ATVs. You’ll feel the ATV go through its gears when it’s in auto mode, but you are also able to switch to manual electronic shift mode, giving you greater control over the gears.
The ATV has five gears, plus reverse, in both its low and high ranges. Low-range features outstanding engine braking, perhaps the best you’ll find in any quad on the market. This ATV also features two- and four-wheel drive and a locking front differential.

Suzuki KingQuad 400 ASi
Suzuki’s KingQuad is expected to be another favorite of the 2021 lineup. Its single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine features 367ccs, which means there’s not quite the power of some of the other ATVs on this list, but it’s still a very capable, user-friendly option, especially for people who like smaller-sized machines. In fact, that smaller size makes it a bit easier to maneuver, and it still has more than enough power for some basic hauling and for plowing.
If you’re in the market for a new ATV this year, make sure you look through these options—they’re some of the best you’ll find at dealerships this year!
