Most Black Widow products carry a 1-Year Non-Transferrable Warranty, and are guaranteed to be free from defects when you receive them.
If a product is misused, neglected, altered, damaged or tampered with, we have to void the warranty because it’s no longer being used as intended and we can’t guarantee the safety of the product or its user.
Black Widow reserves the right to substitute, discontinue, alter or modify our products at any time without notification. Don’t worry, if we do this it’s to make our products or experiences better for you!
First, make sure you bought the item from our Black Widow website. If you purchased it elsewhere, you will need to reach out to that retailer to initiate a warranty claim.
Give us a call promptly at (888) 651-3431, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5:30pm CST. Our customer service representatives will work with you to identify the defects with photo evidence and submit a claim. If the defect is confirmed, Black Widow will replace the defective part with the same or similar product at no charge.
As much as we want you to instantly be satisfied with your new Black Widow product, we understand that sometimes mistakes happen or a product is no longer needed.
Black Widow has a 30-day return policy on most items. Simply give us a call or email us, and we will walk you through the process of getting a Return Authorization Number (RMA) and initiating your return.
Please view our return policy page for more information.
We sure do! Any order placed on a business day before 3:00pm CST will ship out of our warehouses that day.
Warning! Some products listed on this site may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Please note that a Proposition 65 warning does not necessarily mean a product is in violation of any product-safety standards or requirements. For more information, please visit www.watts.com/prop65.
When you attempt to place an order on Black Widow Pro with a credit card, you authorize our credit card processor to reach out to your issuing bank to place a pre-authorization hold on the funds equal to the attempted or placed order. Black Widow Pro is the name that will show on your account statement.
If you attempt to place an order more than once, and the authorization is declined due to billing address, or any other reason, a pre-authorization will be held on your card for each attempt you make. Please confirm that your Bill To address is an exact match to the address associated with your account to avoid any duplicate pending authorizations.
Once your order ships, you will be sent tracking information via email and the payment will be processed. Funds are not deducted from your account until after all the items on your order ship. This matching charge to the pre-authorization will remove the hold. The amount of time the pre-authorized funds are held is based on your banking institution’s pre-determined timeframe. Black Widow Pro and their parent company Motis Brands have no control over how your financial institution handles pending authorizations. If you have questions regarding how long it will take for a hold to drop off, please reach out to your issuing bank or credit card company. If your order has a backorder or unexpected delay, the pending authorization may fall off before the order has shipped. Please note, the charge will not happen until shipment notification is received. Please make sure funds are available at that point, or the order may not ship.
Ramps
Don’t worry, we can calculate the ramp you need for your truck or trailer with only a few simple measurements from you. Input the height of your truck bed or trailer along with the ground clearance of your motorcycle, ATV, or golf cart, as well as the vehicle’s wheelbase, and you’ll have the ideal length for loading and unloading without high-centering or scraping.
Calculate Your RampGreat question!
- Runners are just about the width of your motorcycle wheel. You should never ride up a single runner because it’s intended for an un-manned bike to be guided up and into the truck bed or trailer.
- Bi-fold ramps are double wide, and fold vertically for compact storage. Some of the longer lengths might also fold in half horizontally to make the ramp take up even less of a footprint when not in use. A rider could ride up a bi-fold ramp, as long as he or she was very careful and had a spotter.
- Tri-fold ramps are triple wide, and are designed to be ridden up and into your truck or trailer. Much like the bi-fold ramp, they are hinged or connected so they fold vertically for compact storage. One-third the width means two-thirds the extra space whenever you store it.
Woah, we don’t want to label one as being better than the other! Both offer excellent traction in their own right. Serrated rungs are great for loading bikes that have gone through mud, dirt and dust, as all of that particulate can fall right through as the bike is loaded. Punch plate looks more solid, and the grip is more consistent.
Motorcycle Carriers
We know. It’s hard to showcase the subtle differences between our carriers; we’ll try to break down the key features:
- Weight capacity: Some can haul up to 600 pounds, while others are better for light dirtbikes and motocross bikes.
- Material: Lightweight aluminum or strong steel.
- Loading ramp: Most are self-loading and can be used on either side of the ramp, however some can only be used from one direction.
- Folding: Some carriers come with a folding hitch adapter so they fold right up against your trunk when the carrier is not in use.
Here is a quick, handy comparison chart:
